Visitors are arriving but nobody is identified

Run the Health check on Overview; it tells you which gate is blocking. Common causes, in order:

1. Collection rules. Settings → Min page views (default 1) and Min seconds. A visitor must meet both before we resolve.

2. Region. Person-level resolution is on for the regions in Settings → "Person-level allowed in" (US by default). Visitors outside those regions resolve at company level only unless they gave consent (EU/UK).

3. GPC. Visitors sending Global Privacy Control are never resolved. Exclusions shows the count under "Suppressed".

4. Exclusions. Your own domain, IP or lists suppress matches. Check Exclusions.

5. Free plan allowance. Free includes 25 person-level resolutions a month; after that, company-level continues and person-level pauses. Billing shows the balance.

6. Data coverage. Person-level depends on the identity graph. Company-level works worldwide. Match rate on the Status page shows the network average; new properties with little traffic start lower and improve as returning visitors are recognised.
